A Message From Elder Peggy Norton
It has always been my desire to help people realize that there is more to them, than what life makes them believe. I've been through a lot in my life and have asked the question, "where are the people when I need someone to listen to my pain and tears"? Yes, there were some that would say, if you need me just call, but isn’t it funny, that if we are our brother’s keeper, why couldn't they have felt the times that I needed them? On October 23, 2013 some close friends visited me at my home for prayer. During their visit, one of them asked me about starting a ministry to help people heal and hold on to hope? I could not wrap my mind around it for a while, but then realized what they were saying. I saw this vision years before, but because of fear, I did not want to make the move.
I went through many challenges in my life, where I really needed someone to encourage me. All I ever wanted was for someone that could look beyond my smile, my material things and just see me. Someone to see the hurt, see the confusion, see the insecurity, and see the loneliness that I was wearing within. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, because everybody has a story.
Finally On February 17, 2017, Encouraging Souls Ministry, Inc. was birthed and today, we are now ready, willing, and excited about sharing our gifts and lives with those who are assigned to us. This is not your typical ministry, of having a set format, but one that is totally led by the Most High. Like a psychiatrist, people go to them because their soul needs healing. Well, Encouraging Souls Ministry, Inc. does not profess to be a soul healer, rather we are here to encourage your soul. We are here so that others will come to recognize what their original state of normal conditions was supposed to be before conforming to this world and society. The scripture talks about opening the eyes of my soul to see the full knowledge of my sins. The eyes are the windows of my soul.
Whatever goes in the eyes, also goes in the heart! SO GUARD YOUR HEART.
